Banks closed, schools open, half the businesses skeleton-staffed. Phones get weird.
The half-holidays nobody plans for produce a predictable pattern. Commercial calls drop. Residential calls rise. Property managers, who are mostly working, send more requests than usual because their tenants are home.
If your front desk is taking a long weekend, make sure the phones still answer.
