Clearing the December callback queue
Year-end leaves every shop with a pile of missed messages from people who actually did want to book.
December is the month most shops carry the largest callback queue of the year. End-of-year holidays, tech vacations, weather events. By December 28 there is a list of 40-100 unreturned messages and the customer has either moved on or is in a worse mood than when they first called.
The single most useful end-of-year action: a Sunday afternoon team session calling every name on the list with a specific window offer. The conversion rate is lower than a fresh call but the revenue per hour of work is still very high.
