The quiet hour: why 7-8pm bookings are the best of the day
Customers who call between 7 and 8pm have already decided. They want to schedule, not shop.
The 7pm to 8pm window has the highest booking conversion rate of any hour in our dataset. The phone has been busy since dinnertime - the kids are settled, the customer has thought about the problem all day, and they are ready to commit. They are not still in shopping mode. They are in scheduling mode.
If your shop closes at 5, you miss this window entirely. Voicemail does not solve it because these customers will book the first shop that answers and then turn off their phone.
