Today we're flipping the switch on PhoneGPT, an AI phone receptionist built specifically for service trades. If you run a plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, locksmith, or appliance repair shop, this is for you.

Why we built it

Trades businesses lose between 20% and 40% of inbound calls. Not because the owner doesn't care - because they're on a roof, under a sink, or driving between jobs. Voicemail isn't a safety net; it's a leak. The data we've collected over the last nine months of private beta shows that 73% of after-hours callers never leave a voicemail. They just call the next shop on Google.

What PhoneGPT does on day one

• Answers every call within two rings, 24/7.
• Captures name, address, trade type, urgency, and a plain-English description of the job.
• Texts the owner a transcript and a one-tap callback link within seconds of the call ending.
• Routes true emergencies (water leak, no heat, lockout) to a phone you actually answer.

We deliberately shipped narrow. No calendar integrations yet. No payment collection. No CRM sync. Just answer the phone, capture the job, hand it off. We'll layer the rest on once we know what trades actually use.
