How to run a lost-job postmortem
Five questions to ask once a month to find where bookings are leaking on the phone.
Once a month, pick ten jobs you quoted and lost. For each, answer: how did they first contact us, who answered, how long until callback, was the window we offered competitive, did we follow up. Patterns appear within three months. Almost always, the leak is on the phone - not the price.
